Mrs. Adams was born April 11, 1943 in Union, a daughter of the late Woodrow Alfred Moore and Fannie Lawson Moore. She was retired from Sonoco Products and had previously served as Clerk for the Town of Carlisle. Mrs. Adams was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis A. Kelly and husband Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly of Varnville; a granddaughter, Rebekah Adams Kelly of Varnville; two nephews, Michael Eugene Moore and wife Tammy of Union and Joe Dean Moore of Union; and a niece-in-law, Karen Holcombe Moore of Washington, NC. She was predeceased by a brother, James Alfred Moore, Sr. and a nephew, Rev. Dr. James Alfred Moore, Jr.
Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by her son-in-law, Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice, especially Donna Greer and Demetria Lindsey.
