James Arthur Bowling was born on June 8, 1956 in Laurel County, KY, the son of Walter Finley Bowling Sr. and the late Freda Wardrup Bowling. He was united in marriage to Debra K. Ciesielski Bowling who survives. He is also survived by a son, James Walter Bowling, his siblings, Betty Allen (Charles), Debbie Bowling (Tom), Rosemary Gentry, Vicky Jordan (Patrick), Bobby Ray Bowling (Tonya), Johnny Waldrup (Vicky), George Edward Bowling, grandchildren, Ethan James, Mallory & Erin Bowling plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Besides his mother he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Bowling, Jr., J. D. Bowling and Joe David Bowling.

He was a retired sanitation worker for the City of London.

James Arthur departed this life on Monday, June 15, 2020 being 64 years and 7 days of age.

Eugene Gentry will officiate the service; burial will follow in the Bowling Family Cemetery in London.
