Judy Hazel Hurt Phillips, 81, of Unicoi, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Clyde and Willie Francis Arnold Hurt.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy B. Phillips, her son, Ronnie Wayne Phillips, her brothers: Joe Hurt and Kenneth Hurt, and her sister, Linda Stanley.

Those left to cherish Judy’s memory include her daughter, Sandra N. Walker, grandchildren: Christopher S. Walker, Amanda M. Anders and her husband Rick, Bradley R. Walker and his wife Jennifer, Jimmy Leigh A. Phillips, and Caleb M. Phillips; great-grandchildren: Daimian, Knighten, Michael, and Bentley Phillips, Nicholas Walker, Henry Anders, Emily, Ethen, and Devin Coomer; sisters: Dorothy Woodby, and Libby Cross; brothers: Eugene Hurt, and Paul Hurt; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will greet friends to share memories on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 PM until a Celebration of Judy’s life at 7:00 PM in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City, with Pastor Kenneth Grindstaff officiating.

A Graveside and Committal service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 am.
