Joseph "Charles" David, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00 am with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 8:00 AM until time of Services.
Charles is survived by his wife, Ollie Richard David; one son, Blake David and wife Ronda; one daughter in law, Sandra David; three brothers, Joe Richard, Weston Richard, Wilbur Richard; one sister, Jeannie Humphries; six grandchildren, Brandi David Lovett and wife Laura Lovett, Jeffery David, Lacy Oliver and husband Steven, Jr.. Taylor Stelly, Kenny David, Sidney David; seven great-grandchildren, Steven III, Ethan, Talan, Andrew, Christopher, Izzy and Lillian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph C David, Sr.; his mother, Willie Guidry Savoy; one son, Blaine David; one brother, John Robert RIchard; one sister, Catherine Guidry; one daughter in law, Veronica David and one great-grandson, Gavin David.
