Linda M. McGuire, 74, passed away Monday June 15, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 25, 1946 the daughter of Watson and Mildred (Van Dusen) Winslow.
Linda retired as a teacher from Au Sable Valley High School and also worked in computer sciences at SUNY Plattsburgh where she often organized evening workshops. She enjoyed being active: bowling, boating, water-skiing, saltwater fishing and downhill skiing. She loved to travel, covering all 50 states as well as many countries from China, Europe and Australia.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, their children Laura Miller and her husband Steve, Karla McGuire, and Mark McGuire and his wife Angela, her grandchildren; Emily Miller, Sophia Dominicis, and Mila and Madden McGuire.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 10:00-11:00am at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Face covering and social distancing is required during services.
