Mrs Sarah Black died this morning at eight o'clock at the home of her son, George, in Uniodale. Her death was a sudden one. Sunday, morning she was attacked by cholera morbus which was succeded by a stroke of paralysis and a second one followed later in the evening. Mrs Black was seventy-seven years of age, having been born in Perry county, Ohio, August 4, 1823. She was married to Demosthenes Black in 1840, but at the time of her death was a widow. Mrs Black leaves four children living and had three dead. One of them is Mrs James L. Conklin, of Bluffton. Mrs. Richard Redding, of Rockcreek Center, Huntington county, George of Uniondale, and John, who is in the west, are the other children. The time of the funeral has been fixed for two o'clock tomorrow at Horeb church.
