Obituary
With deepest sorrow we announce that our beautiful Richard Anthony Tidwell, age 23, was called back to heaven on March 22, 2020. He was born in Provo, UT May 28, 1996. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Anthony will be available for viewing Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM and Saturday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Anthony was a shining light for everyone and anyone who was lucky enough to have him in their life. He will be missed everyday by his mother, Laura (Black) Tidwell; Father, Richard Scott Tidwell; Brother, Brandon Scott Tidwell; Grandparents Lee and Marsha Black, Woody Tidwell; Aunts, Shauna (Black) Boyce, Anne (Black) Cook, Linda (Black) Boatman, Wendy (Black) Mannis; Uncles, Jerry Christopher Tidwell, Christopher John Black, David John Black and loving family John Palacios, Christian Dene Palacios, Olivia Viviana Palacios, Nahara Beatriz Escobar, Michelle Blythe Finkbone, grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

Anthony was currently attending Amarillo College as a Biology/Chemistry major. He hoped someday to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis or maybe just save the planet. He was known for his intelligence, wicked sense of humor, loyalty, and love. Anthony loved all things nature especially hiking, camping, animals of all kind (even the weird ones) and most of all his family and friends.

His very favorite place to be was in the backyard with the grill fired up surrounded by his loved ones laughing and teasing.

His loss has forever shattered our lives. Until we are reunited, we will continue living, taking your shining light with us. We love you and miss you so terribly my sweet kind Anthony Lou.
