Larry Dean Brewer age 83, of Tecumseh passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Oasis Healthcare Center in Adrian. He was born December 14, 1936 in Ann Arbor, the son of the late Leon and Belle (Belonga) Brewer. On October 29, 1993 in Gatlinburg, TN he married Sharon Elaine Wilson and they have shared over 26 years together.
Larry retired from the construction business. He was an Elder with the Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Larry loved pickup trucks, being outdoors hunting and fishing and was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
Besides his wife, Sharon, he is survived by a son, Randy (Tara) Brewer of Manchester; a daughter, Tammie Bailey of Shelby, OH; a step-son, Scott (Courtney Smith) Wilson of Toledo, OH; brother, Michael (Doreen) Brewer; sister, Vicki Jedele of Tecumseh; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Logan, Cody, Justin, Taylor, Breann and Katelynn; and six great grandchildren, Hadley, Roy, Julian, Johnathan, Luke and Dean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses at Oasis Healthcare Center.
Graveside services for Larry will be at 11 am on Monday, June 8, 2020 in Ridgeway Cemetery with Chaplain Gail Blum officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Daybreak Adult Day Services and Hospice of Lenawee.
