Dana Renee’ (Rout) Baker was born June 23, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to David Rout and Carol (Waters) Ward. She passed away June 11, 2020 in Midwest City at the age of 56.
Dana grew up in and around Oklahoma and graduated from Chandler High School with the class of 1981. She was well known in the Chandler Community. She was outgoing and full of life. She went out of her way to help others who will each forever cherish their time together.
Dana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Irene Waters; and husband, Chance Baker. Survivors include her mother, Carol Ward of Davenport; daughter, Jenna (Baker) Payne and her husband Joshua of Chandler; (3) granddaughters, Miranda, Sadie, and Macie Payne; brother, Dax Alexander of Yukon; sister, Savannah Ward of Davenport; along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Christian Church in Chandler with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery. Officiating is Pastor Christine Pomaville and arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
