Martha, known to her many friends as "Flip" was married to Robert Campbell who preceded her in death in 2006. Martha toured the world as a proud military wife and mother raising her five children. Prior to marrying Robert, Martha also served proudly in the Air Force stationed at the Pentagon as a Teletype Operator.
Anyone who knew Martha was immediately drawn to her as a friend for life. Martha was a great wife, mother, and doting grandmother/great grandmother. She took great pride in her children. All successful in their own right, anyone of them will tell you they owe it all to her due to her support, advice (freely given), and unconditional love. She will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving woman who always put family first.
Martha is survived by her children; Rodney (SunYi) Campbell, Barbara (Manuel) Marando, Deborah (Wayne) Kellis, Randy (Pat) Campbell & Terry Campbell, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family would like to send special thanks to Lexington Extended Care (Palmetto Lane), in Lexington, SC for their excellent and compassionate care provided to Martha and her family.
A grave side service will be held in the Candor, North Carolina Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 21, 2020.
In lieu of flowers or donations, do as Martha would. Put groceries in your kid’s kitchens or send them some clothes. Take someone you love out for a nice dinner. Do something unselfish, unselfishly.
