Marilyn Spencer, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her residence
Born August 15, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Harold and June (Jones) Hawn.
She married Joe Spencer on December 25, 1980, who passed away October 10, 2018.
She was the owner of Spencer logging in Scottsburg, Indiana and was a member of the Little York Christian Church also Order of the Eastern Star #63, Scottsburg, Indiana
Survivors include:
Daughter: Crystina "Tina" Ison, Scottsburg, Indiana; Son: Thomas Spencer, Salem, Indiana; Brother: J.D. Hawn, Little York, Indiana; Sisters: Anita (Allen) Lareau; San Louis Obispo, CA. Linda (Eric) Wallmark, Scottsburg, Indiana. .
She was preceded in death by her mother and father along with her husband Joe.
There will be an Eastern Star service 7 pm Wednesday.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Private funeral services, for immediate family only, will be held 12 Noon Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana.
Due to the need for social distancing related to COVID-19, Public Visitation, with 25 people allowed in the building at a time. Face coverings are highly encouraged.
Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
