Mrs. Nancy Lee Wilder Echols, 70, of Thomaston, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice. 
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Echols will be held in Thomaston on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM in South View Cemetery with Rev. Don Voyles officiating. 
Mrs. Echols was born in Thomaston on February 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Johnny L. and Martha Daniel Wilder. She was a loving sister, wife, aunt and friend. 
Mrs. Echols was a homemaker, a china painter, a genealogist, and loved to help with R. E. Lee Institute class reunions. She kept up with family and friends through social media. She, her mother, and friends traveled to all the lower 48 states on vacations and to china painting shows and workshops. She was a member of the Pulaski Chapter, NSDAR. 
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Echols; her sister, Carole Proctor; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Janice Echols; her nephews, Walter Proctor, Daniel and Cathy Proctor of Griffin; a niece, Heather Proctor of Kennesaw, and a great niece, Victoria Bain Proctor of Griffin. 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Louise and Talmadge Echols, and her brother-in-law, Bain Proctor. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
