Dorothy was born on November 27, 1917 to Carl and Susan Fackler in North Minneapolis, MN. Growing up she enjoyed sports and excelled as a first baseman on the Wesley Girls City Team and the Minneapolis Girls' Twin City League.
She graduated from North Senior High in Minneapolis in 1936 and attended classes at the Minnesota School of Business. Dorothy married Earle A. Jensen in 1939, they had two daughters, at which time she became a stay at home mother for her children and caretaker for her mother. The family moved to the Minnetonka area in 1959.
In 2001 Dorothy and Earle moved from their home in Minnetonka to Pathstone Assisted Living in Mankato. Earle passed away in 2003 and Dorothy remained in Mankato until February 2019 when she move to Park Rapids to be closer to family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earle, sisters' Lucille (Ray) Andrew, Ruth (Charles) Rutledge and brother Carl (June) Fackler Jr. She is survived by her daughters and
son-in-laws Vicki and Don Warrington of Omaha, NE and Julie and Gene Fladeboe of Park Rapids, MN, eight nieces and three nephews.
Dorothy was loved by all that knew her!
The family would like to thank her caregiver Sharon Anderson from Visiting Angels while she lived in Mankato, the staff at Pathstone Living and Heritage Cottages and CHI St. Joseph's Hospice Care.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
