Polly Jane Lingo was born in Hope on 9 September 1953 to Lloyd William and Jessie Rebecca (Cole) Lingo. She grew up in Hope and attended school there with her brothers, Johnny Paul and Davey Joe. After graduation she attended Red River Vocational School.
Polly was employed by Hope Brick Works for many years before working as a deputy clerk at the Hempstead County Courthouse until her retirement in December of 2019. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Church in Hope where she served as Sunday School Clerk.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Matthew Lingo.
She is survived by her brothers Johnny Paul Lingo (Gerolyn) and Davey Joe Lingo (Linda); nieces and nephews Rebecca Hingtgen (Nicholas), Jennifer Gonzales, Angela Lingo, and David Lingo; and by great-nephews Christopher Servidio, Nicholas Servidio, and Dax Aaron Gonzales.
Graveside service was held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope, Arkansas.
