Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Doris B. (Rice) Gould.
Brenda was employed by South County Hospital for many years before retiring as a cashier. She loved crafting and co-owned a craft shop in Coventry with her sister. She enjoyed attending yard sales and was a collector of all things.
She is survived by her three children, Bonnie L. Laauwe and her husband John of West Warwick, Traci C. Larouche of Florida, and George T. Ewen of Alaska; a son-in-law Sonny Goodness, Jr.; a sister, Patricia A. Walker of Maine; four grandchildren, Nicole Pike and her husband Brandon, Katelynn Penta, Brittney Sumpter, and Arielle Larouche; six great-grandchildren, Emma, Jaxson, Gabrielle, Aria, Aiden, and Zion. Brenda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Alfred, Brenda was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa J. Richmond; two sisters, Loretta D. Champlin and Carol M. Parker; and a brother, Gordon E. Rogers.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
