Kingwood - Services for Shannon Frederick May of Houston, Texas, were held Saturday, Sep. 18, 2004, in Rosewood Funeral Chapel in Porter, Texas, with interment that followed at Rosewood Cemetery in Porter.
Shannon was born Aug. 12, 1971, and died on Tuesday, Sep. 14, 2004, as a result of a traffic crash in or near Bastrop, Texas.
Shannon was a very vibrant and compassionate person who was loved by all who met him. He was taken from us in the prime of his life to go and live peacefully with our Father in Heaven. The void he left behind can only be filled by all of our precious memories.
Shannon is the beloved son of Sandra and Jim Glaspie of San Angelo and Willie and Joyce May of Kingwood. He is also survived by his sister, Tiffany May of Dallas; three stepbrothers, Mike and Mark Glaspie of San Angelo, and Brad Wadsworth of China; and two stepsisters, Missy Glaspie Bumstead of San Angelo and Toni Wadsworth of Grand Prairie. Shannon is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
