Willie Gene Farris, age 67, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Friday June 12, 2020. He was born January 26, 1953 in New Boston, Texas to Willie B. Farris and Bobbie Jean Morgan Farris. Gene was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a true outdoor man, who loved hunting, fishing and camping. Left to cherish is memory are his mother, Bobbie Jean Farris; brother, Don Farris; niece, Chelsea Farris; and nephew, Tyler Farris. He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside service for Gene will be held Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Following the graveside service will be a burial at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
