Mrs. Irma Ogle, 82, Passes Away Wednesday; Rites to be in Ashmore
Mrs. Irma C. Ogle, 82 years of age, Kansas resident for the past several years, died Wednesday evening at 6:35 in Charleston Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ashmore Presbyterian Church. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Arthur Woolley, Kansas Methodist Minister, and Rev. Clarence Liang. Ashmore
Presbyterian Church Minister.
Interment, will be in Ashmore cemetery.
The body is in Harper-Swickard Funeral home, Charleston, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today (Thursday).
Surviving are a son, Harold, Brandenton, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Anders, South Bend, Ind. and Mrs. Helen Anders, Muskegon, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Ogle was a member of Ashmore Presbyterian Church, Ashmore Eastern Star and Grandview Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Ogle was born in Edgar County on June 18, 1891, the daughter of Samuel and Effie Galbreath Brouth. She married George Albert Ogle. He died in 1965. (a few lines lost because a picture was copied over the top of the obit.)"

150 Attend Open House Held For George Ogles
About 150 relatives and friends attended open house reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Albert Ogle, honoring them on their fiftieth wedding anniversary7 Aug. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Mrs. Ogle wore a dress of light blue lace. Her corsage was of yellow rose-buds and ivy tied with gold ribbon and tiny golden bells.
The refreshments were yellow punch and white cake squares with a yellow rose bud on each square; yellow mints and cashew nuts. The oval tea table was covered with a yellow damask cloth, also oval. In the center was a lovely arrangement of yellow gladiolas.
Miss Candace Reynolds of North Muskegon, Mich.. niece of Mr. and Mrs. Ogle, presided at the punch bowl and Miss Carol Lynne Ogle, their granddaughter, served the cake. They were assisted by other nieces and by Mrs. Van McDavitt and Mrs. Joe Shoot who represented the Sunshine and Ever Ready Sunday school classes of the Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Frank Butler and Mrs. John Keigley had charge of the guest book and Mrs. Faye Pepper, Mrs. Ernest Boyer and Mrs. Thomas Shoot received the guests at the door.
Mrs. Ruth Anders of South Bend, Ind., had charge of the gifts of which there were many and very nice.
The original wedding dress was on display, also some wedding gifts and pictures of Irma and Jack taken about the time they were married.
Among those attending from out of town were guests from Roslyn, Pa., Dearborn, Mich., South Haven, Mich., Muskegon and North Muskegon, Midi., South Bend. Ind., Terre Haute, Ind., Rosedale, Ind., Farmersburg, Ind., Oak Lawn, Humboldt, Decatur, Paris, Charleston, Mattoon, Arcola, Grandview, Kansas, Oakland and Georgetown, Illinois.
