Billy Ray Cooper, a lifelong resident of New Hope, was born on July 30, 1935, and passed from this earth on October 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Doris M. Cooper, beloved daughter Kim Raye McCorvey, and brother Riley Cooper, Jr.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Sandra Butler (John, Jr.), and Vicki Horton (Kevin); grandchildren, John and JoAnna Butler, Ramsey Ceballos (Najla), Ellen Deasy (Chad), Kenton and Jacob Horton; sister, Judy Chandler (Robert) and special niece and "buddy," Denise Hindman.
Visitation will be Saturday 1pm to 3pm at New Hope Funeral Home with the service at 3pm.
Interment will be at the Hayden Cemetery in New Hope.
