LYDIA — Services for Gladys Provost Green, 95, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with the Rev. Donovan Labbe officiating. Internment will follow in St. Nicholas Church Cemetery in Patoutville.
Visitation will be observed Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A rosary will be recited at noon.
A resident of Houston, Ms. Green died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston.
She is survived by her borther, Clarence Provost Sr.; three sisters, Mabel Sullivan, Clara Provost and Beatrice Landry, all of Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Ms. Green was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Provost Sr. and Virginia Boutte Provost; four brothers, Joseph, Wilfred, Junius and Frank Provost Jr.; and two sisters Eunice Boutte and Mildred Provost.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be family members.
Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
