She married Oscar Lyle Bennett on January 3, 1953 in Rockwall, Texas. She was a Switch Board Operator. She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist, attended First Baptist of Rowlett.
Survived by daughters, Teri Harris, Linda Bennett, son, Ted Bennett, sisters, Helen Meadows, Ida Lee Corn, Velta Busalache, brothers, Dale Pierce, Raymond Pierce, four grand children and seven great grand children.
A Service will be held June 16, 2020 at Restland Funeral Home. Private Burial will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery...RFH
