Raymond C. Koch of Arlington Heights Raymond C. Koch was born on October 1, 1920 in Des Plaines to William and Caroline (nee Guelzow) Koch. He died Monday, February 11, 2013 in Glenview. Ray worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Northern Illinois Gas Co. of Glenview and Aurora. He also served in the United States Marine Corps as a fighter pilot. Raymond was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Buffalo Grove and was a member of the Arlington Heights Senior Center. Ray loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all. Raymond is survived by his spouse Beatrice, whom he married April 29, 1945 in Chicago; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Gregory A. Koch, and Gordon R. Koch; sisters, Irene (Robert) Knoll and Dorothy (Gardner) Welty, brothers, Lawrence ( Alma) Koch and Alvin (Audrey) Koch. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, February 15, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be at 9:00 am, Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 North Milwaukee Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by a 10:30 am Memorial Service at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
