Susan Langston, 85, of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2012, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring.

Born and raised in Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania, Susan relocated to St. Augustine from West Windsor, N.J. in 2002. Susan enjoyed pallet knife painting and taking time to swim to get her exercise. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Jesse O. Langston.

True to her Italian heritage, she was a gracious host and wonderful cook. She earned her pilot"s license as a young adventurous woman. In the 1980s, she counseled people as a psychic healer and gave true spiritual and emotional healing. She will be remembered for her keen wit, sense of humor, and beautiful smile and spirit.

She is survived by her sons, Jesse Langston of St. Augustine, Dante Langston, and his wife, Helen, of Colorado Springs and David Langston, and his wife, Lisa, of Long Beach, N.Y.; and by two grandsons, Hamilton and Aaron Langston.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the recreation room at St. Augustine Beach & Tennis Condominium. Private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
