Born in Nashville, Tenn., Mr. Adler lived 39 years in Toledo. He retired in 1956 after working five years as a salesman at the Cunnycrest Poultry Co. Before that he worked for the old Electric Autolite Co. He was a member of Local 12, UAW.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth C.; daughters, Mrs. Helen Kiracofe, of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Katherine Neal, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; a son, John, Jr., of Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Dollie Bennett, and Mrs. Jennie Forewright; a brother, W. G., all of Nashville; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Day-Edwards Mortuary, with burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The body will be in the mortuary tomorrow after 2 p.m.
