"Mrs Pearl Myra Clark, aged 51, wife of John R Clark of Centerville, died at 5:35 am Tuesday at the Meadville City hospital, following a long illness. She was a daughter of Wilbur H and Myra Ellen Decker and was born near Teeplevllle, October 14, 1892. Most of her life was spent in Centerville, where she was a member of the Methodist church, the WCTU and the Rural Letter Carriers Woman's Auxiliary. Besides the husband, she leaves the following children: Sgt John Herbert Clark, in England; Lieut Russell H (sic) [Russell M] Clark, in Cuba; Mrs Raymond Drake, RD Tryonville; Charles Scott, Miriam Louise and Esther Pearl Clark, at home. There is one grandchild, Richard M Drake, and the following brothers and sisters: Charles H Decker of Parkersburg, W Va, Mrs W L Mead of Bradford, Rev Roy R Decker of Punxsutawney, Mrs J H Rodier of Pleasantville, Walter R Decker of Centerville and Mendal E Decker of Mt Pleasant, Mich. The body will be taken from the W L Arnold funeral home in Townville to the family residence today, where friends may call and where a prayer service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday, followed by services in the Centerville Methodist church at 2:30 pm. Interment will be in Sunnyside cemetery."
