Mr. Guyton was owner of Guyton Plumbing Co. in McComb for over 50 years. In 1967, he was appointed as one of the original trustees of Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was involved in the real estate business for many years. He was a member of East McComb Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and was on the board of trustees for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wall Guyton and Betty Mullins Guyton; three brothers, Ramsey Guyton, Bob Badon and H. Badon; and five sisters, Maggie Guyton Clark, Hoyt Guyton Curtis, Rudy Badon McGuffie, Fannie Badon Pickett and Helen Badon O'Brien.
He was survived by his wife of 66 years, Nell Rose Dunaway Guyton of McComb; his son, Billy Wall Guyton and wife Ruth of McComb; his daughter, Cherrie Myers and husband Ronnie of Slidell, LA; one sister-in-law, Avis Ball Guyton of McComb; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
