Lucille Lawson Robinson, 88, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away peacefully at 11:22 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 168 Brocato Lane in Raceland, LA. Burial will follow in Brooklyn Cemetery (aka Bell Baptist Benevolent Cemetery), 174 Brooklyn Lane, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Cleo Jones (David), Belinda Robertson (Lionel), Doris Hood (Philip), Janice Stoudemire (Larry) and Laura Dorsey; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Robinson, Sr.; son, Herbert Robinson, Jr.; parents, Henry and Matilda Charles Lawson; brothers, Henry, Jr., Joseph, Earl, Jeremiah, Alfred, Henderson and Hubert Lawson; sisters, Pearl Thomas, Enolia Williams and Gloria Beamon.
