Mrs. Sarah Agnes Reynolds Passes Away, who was born near Beaver Dam in 1865, died in Richmond, VA, Saturday, just 13 days before her 89th birthday. Mrs. Reynolds the widow of the late George W. Reynolds, who died June 30 1917 was very well known in Brunswick County where she most of her earlier life and raised a family, including Mr. Isaac E. Reynolds of Shallotte. Funeral services were held in Wilmington Monday afternoon at Yopp's Funeral Home. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery, Wilmington. The Rev. George Sheppard officiated at the services. Ellsworth, Warren, W.O., and I. T. Reynolds, J. E. Smith, and Leroy Justice served as pallbearers. A large group comprised of Mrs. Reynolds' many friends and relatives attended the services. Surviving Mrs. Reynolds in addition to Mr. Isaac Reynolds is another son, Charles H Reynolds and a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Justice, both of Richmond, VA. One brother R. T. Woodside, resides at Southport and another, Charles Woodside, live in Tampa FL. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 18 great grand children. The grandchildren include the following; W. O. Reynolds who has been serving with the Air Force at Fort Brag but who is being transferred to Greenland; Warren and Ellsworth Reynolds and Mrs. Hercules Stanley, all Shallotte; I. T. Reynolds, of Wilmington; Norwood Reynolds, of (can not read) Minn; Mrs. Mary Agnes Wade. Mrs. Ida Lou Massie, Mrs. Pearl Williams, and Leroy Justice, all of Richmond. and George F. Sey, now in Paris France. Another grandchild, the late Robert L. Reynolds, lost his life in World War II. Mrs. Reynolds went to Richmond in 1922, staying there with those of her children and grandchildren who resided in the Virginia City.
