His Death Certificate translates to: "The seaman Wilhelm Emil Schultz, sailor land defense on sub-hunter 117 11 sub = hunting flotilla ... is on 4 Dec 1939 at 4:00pm in the sinking of the sub hunter 117 deceased. Place of death: The Great Belt (Storebaelt) btw Zealand/Funen islands Denmark"

On Volksbund Gräbersuche website it says: "Wilhelm Schultz is, as a fallen member of the German Navy, recorded by name either on one of the plates at the U-Boat Memorial at Möltenort near Kiel or in a memorial book on display at the Laboe Naval Memorial"
