Jeffrey Allan Peterson, 64, of Falconer, passed away Wednesday (June 10, 2020) in UPMC Chautauqua.

A lifelong area resident, he was born July 1, 1955, in Jamestown, the son of the late Gerald Allen and Janice Elaine Carlson.

Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Jamestown High School and was employed by Acu-Rite for 18 years. He was currently employed by The Post-Journal.

He enjoyed his family, playing softball, fishing and taking care of animals.

Surviving are his wife, whom he married Aug. 3, 1975; five children; 11 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zoe Rayne Emmick; a great-granddaughter, Norah Brown; and a brother, John Peterson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Andrew R. Peterson, his nephew will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
