Born Sunday, February 8, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a 2006 graduate of Gibson County High School, employee of the VFW in Trenton, Tennessee, lifetime auxiliary member of the VFW Post # 4798 in Trenton, Tennessee and in her spare time enjoyed diamond painting and caring for children.
Funeral services for Ms. Benson will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Tom Crandall. Internment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father Anthony "Tony" Benson and his wife, Theresa of Yorkville, Tennessee; one brother, Matthew Young of Dyer, Tennessee; two sisters, Jana Pennell of Dresden, Tennessee and Rachel Craun (Danny) of Smyrna, Tennessee; her grandmother, Janice Pierce of South Fulton, Tennessee and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jamie Fay Johnson Benson; her nephew, William Anthony Young and her grandparents, Charles and Betty Benson and James Johnson.
Honoring Jessica as pallbearers will be Michael Joe "Rooster" Galloway, Scott Little, Joshua Jackson,Justin Davis, Joshua Jackson, Shylier Lowery, Jason Hicks, Jeff Harrison and Chad Hoskins. Honorary pallbearer will be Kris Baldwin.
