Pamela Carol Speer died Aug. 4, 2017 after a short illness. Services were private. She is the daughter of William and Dixie Speer. Pamela was a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Library Science. She retired in 1997 after 30 years as an elementary Media Specialist with the Columbia Public Schools. She may be remembered as the Panda Lady, sharing her extensive collection at several schools. She is predeceased by her parents and niece, Abby Speer.∼
