Services for F.L. Deal King, 91, of Palestine will be at 19 a.m. Tuesday at the Bailey & foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. King died Saturday at a Palestine healthcare facility.
He was born Feb. 7, 1907, in Mineral Wells. He was retired from the maintenance department of Anderson County. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elkhart.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Elizabeth Rae King; and a son, Lawrence Ferrell King.
He is survived by a daughter, Sally King Stubbs of Tennessee Colony; a son, Travis King of Palestine; two sisters, Fay Rea of Elkhart and Rose King of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons, great-grandsons and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
