Professional Football Player. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the captain of his football and basketball teams as a senior at Broad Ripple High School and received the McDonald's All-American Award. He attended the University of Notre Dame (1980-84), played football as a corner back, was the team co-captain and was picked All-American by Football News in (1980-81). In 1984, he was selected in the 6th round of the NFL Draft by the then Los Angeles Raiders. For five seasons (1984-88), he played as a safety for the Los Angeles Raiders appearing in 72 games, with 6 sacks, 2 interceptions, scored 2 touch downs and was a recipient of the All Madden Award. His career was cut short when he died in a auto accident at age 27 at Marina del Rey, California.
