Scott A. Thomas, 56, died at his residence in Chesterfield June 9, 2020 after an extended illness.
He was born February 5, 1964 in Athens, Greece.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1982. He was employed by Indianapolis Public Schools for 10 years in the FMD Facility Maintenance Division. He loved fishing, hunting, painting, archery, swimming and golf.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Veronica "Vicki" (Carper) Thomas whom he married February 14, 1983; his parents, William E. "Bill" and Charlene (Eustler) Thomas; two children, Trent Thomas (fiancée Ashlee); Kristen Thomas; brother, Curt (Melissa) Thomas; sister, Kathy (Darin) Blackwell; favorite granddaughter, Isabella "Bella" Thomas; mother-in-law, Pax Carper, sisters-in-law, Teresa Bowlin, Amanda Sweeney; brother-in-law, Jeff Carper; aunt, Lou and Uncle David Street; Uncle Johnny Willis and Aunt Vicki; several nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl & Oleta Thomas, Lucille & Virgil Pake; Charles & Nona Eustler, aunt, Penny Willis; father-in-law, Don Carper, brother-in-law, Kevin E. Carper and several cousins.
Per his wishes, he was cremated with no services.
