Charlie Lee White, 92, of New Hope, passed away Sunday.
Charlie was a life long resident of New Hope and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by father, Benny Gordon White; mother, Margaret White; wife, Frances Helen White; daughter, Rhonda Jean White; step mother, Ida White; granddaughter, Sherry Jo White and Rebecca Carol White; siblings, Erskine White, Arlon White, Bonnie Jo Nash, Floyd Key and Lurleen White; four step sisters; and sister-in-law, Shirley Kelly.
Surviving are son, Charles (Sonya) White; son, Glenn (Sharon) White; daughter, Darlene (Charles) Lemley; grandchildren, Cassie White, Haley Lemley, Tyler (Sara) Lemley and Raine White; great grandchildren, Zelaya Denton and Charlie Wade Lemley; brother, Loyd Key; brother-in-law, James Sneed; sister-in-law, Debbie Sneed; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dewayne Martin and Charles White officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eric Francis, Shell Cook, James Sneed, Bobby Hill, Benny Key, and Ray Lemley.
Interment will be in the Hayden Cemetery.
