Jean Prestolla (Dyson) King passed away on June 3, 2020. She was born on March 5th, 1942, in Washington D.C., the daughter of Thomas R. and Catherine L. Dyson.

Jean received her education in Prince Georges County Public Schools. She was a member of Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Indian Head, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas "Dickie" Dyson; one son, Delvon Lamont King; one sister-in-law, Vera Chase; and one nephew, Corey.

Jean is survived by her children, Karla King, Corey (Contessa) King, Sr.; and one adopted son, Johnny Rossettos; seven grandchildren, Tynise King, Brianna Clagett, Janaire King, Kyisha King, Corey King Jr., De'Quan Proctor, and Kenny Reed; three great-grandchildren, Amariah Wallace, Delvon Wallace and Zyla Proctor; one brother, Leon "Butch" Dyson, Sr; one daughter-in-law, Keisha King; five sisters-in-law, Rebecca King, Joan Dyson, Sandra Dyson-Mullins, Mildred "Sue" Dyson, and Linda Dyson; 10 nephews, Leon, Joseph, Jason, Eric, Darrell, Allan, Cornell, Cameron, Brandon, Larry; 11 nieces, Jenneetta, Charlene, Darlene, Dorene, Jackie, Sandy, Margaret, Catherine, Lyntoria, Sherry, and Brandy; her friends, Martha Swailes "BeeBee", Mildred Gram, and Joanie Cargill; and a host of other family and friends.

Services held in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., Indian Head, MD. Interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
