MISHAWAKA- Mabel N. Morgan, 87, of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday (May 20, 2011) at her home. Mabel Sims was born March 22, 1924 in Roseland, IN, to Lillian Sykes Simms, and Joseph Ward Simms. At the age of 21 she fell in love and married William Morgan. After Bill returned from the war, they had 6 children, Dennis, Dixie, Darryl, Darlene, Pam and Kurt.
She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family at Honker's on Day Road from 7-9 p.m. on Monday May 23. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions to honor Mabel Morgan be sent to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
