Shirley Ann Foster, age 81 and a resident of Rockwall, TX, since 1974, passed away June 8, 2020. She was born January 26, 1939, in Lindsay, CA, to Leonard James Dixson and Opal (Cornelius) Dixson. Shirley enjoyed her career in the insurance industry so much that she worked until she was 78. In her spare time, she loved to dance and stayed on-the-go, shopping, and traveling. She especially loved trips to the casino. Shirley was a beautiful woman who was always well dressed with her hair and nails done and always had a smile for everyone.

Shirley is survived by her son: Eddy Foster and wife Teri; best friend: Karen Carson; and granddog: Steely. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Gaylon Foster; and by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, June 11, 2020, in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Rockwall, Texas, with Ken Archibald officiating.
