Kathleen Franklin, 100, of Corinne, WV passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Kathleen attended Pierpoint Freewill Baptist Church in Maben, WV and worked as an X-Ray technician for over 35 years at Wyoming General Hospital. She enjoyed crafts such as ceramic and crocheting. She loved and cherished spending time with her family.
Born on April 23, 1920 in Maben, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy B. Workman (1883-1952) and Ida Vira Hash-Workman-Withrow (1888-1962). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Franklin (Deceased); her sisters, Zida Wanda Workman-Elam (1910-1993), Maxie Workman-Bowles (Deceased), Vesta Workman-Wilson (Deceased), Emma Lee Workman-Taylor-Kardish (192-2004), and Ida "Geneva" Workman-Taylor (1924-2007); her brothers, Earl Carson Workman (1913-1992), Maxel "Max" T. Workman (1918-1982) and Roy "B." Workman Jr. (1915-2001); grandson, Michael Franklin (Deceased); granddaughter, Pamela Lynn Cumby (1963-2015); and great-grandchildren, Harold Shrewsbury Jr. (Died in Infancy) and Todd Shrewsbury (Deceased).
