Services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, with Rev. Scott L. Willis officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo

Howard Don Jackson was born October 10, 1950, in El Paso, to Donald and Dolores Jackson. He was a US Navy Vet. He loved living in Alaska. This love started when his family was stationed at Elemendorf Air Force Base. He loved fishing and being an umpire for little league baseball when he lived in Eagle River, AK. He always wanted to try out for the major leagues in baseball but never got the chance.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Vonnie Jackson, parents Donald and Dolores Jackson, brother Dwayne Jackson and grandson Don (DJ) Jackson.

Survivors include 5 children, Don Dwayne Jackson, of Amarillo, TX, Marsha Kay Jackson and fiancé David Medina of Amarillo, TX, Shonee T. Jackson and wife Carmen Jackson of Georgetown, TX, April L. Prado of Georgetown, TX, Shawnna Shaver and husband Paul Shaver of Sacramento, CA; 4 siblings, Danny Jackson, of Buena Park, CA, Denise Cox and husband Dean Cox, of Mt. Juliet, TN, Darrell Jackson and wife Veronica Jackson of Amarillo, TX, Donita Silk of Amarillo, TX; 12 grandkids; 8 great-grandkids; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
