Margie Wright, 94, of Dongola, died at 5:10 am on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Integrity Healthcare of Carbondale.
She was born September 26, 1925 in Dongola, the daughter of Zeb and Annie Zulene (Cauble) Peeler. She married Leslie W. “Bill” Wright on June 8, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2016.
Margie enjoyed crafts and loved to travel. She and Bill enjoyed their winters in Marathon, Florida. They also completed 2 round trip Alaskan motorhome excursions. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola.
She is survived by daughter, Janie of Dongola; son, L. (B.) Wright of Lick Creek; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great great-grandson; brother-in-law, R. Wright of Anna; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Besides her husband Margie was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Billie Ann; son in-law, Tom Peterson; brothers, Clifford and Hugh Peeler.
Private graveside services will be held at American Legion Cemetery.
