Willard L. ‘Bill’ Burkhamer, passed away at the age of 86, on June 9, 2020 at Schmitt Woodland Hills.
He was the son of Leonard and Freda (Miller) Burkhamer. Bill was a lifelong farmer. He was born in Orion Township in Richland County and attended the one- room schools. Bill enjoyed softball, horseshoe pitching, hunting, and bowling. He enjoyed his nieces and nephews, and the many family gatherings.
Bill is survived by his brother: Richard (Mary Pat) Burkhamer of Verona, sister: Sally (Richard) Armstrong of Blue River, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Duane and LaVerne Burkhamer; four sisters: Bernice, Verda, Betty and Avis.
A private burial will be held at the Basswood Cemetery. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
