Jessie Virginia Craycraft Jackson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 3.2020 at at her home surrounded by her family.
A native of Bath County, born July 27, 1936 to the late Allie and Alverda Craycraft.
She was a long time member of the Spears Mill Baptist Church and a retired employee Hansley Mills. She is survived by Gary {Connie} Jackson, Michael and {Debbie} Jackson Cathy Lynn Preston {Jackson}Terry {Lori}Jackson she had 7 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, 1great great grandchild, 1 sister Emma Lee Minton and several nieces and nephews.
She loved her family and enjoyed baking her legendary sock it to me cakes for their birthdays. Her little red car was often seen in Paris as she visited family, friends, and church members. She loved to fellowship with her friends at Hardee’s. She also volunteered at the local food bank.
She was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Allen Jackson, her siblings, Mary Charles Stephens, William Robert Craycraft, Marjorie Allen White, and James Buntin Craycraft. She was also preceeded in death by one great granddaughter, Annabelle Marie Jackson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Spears Mill Baptist Church and Bluegrass Hospice Care.
Visitation will be Friday June 5, 2020 from 11-1with service immediately following at Lusk McFarland Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Bro. Phillip Ronk. Burial will be at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be, David Jackson, Marc Jackson, Raymond Jackson, Shelby Jackson, Eric Sparks, Guy Sexton, Ben Sparks, and Brent Schrack. Honorary Pallbearers are Heather Sparks, Lisa Schrack, and Crystal Sexton.
