Elsie Mae Scott, 88, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away June 23, 2019, at the
Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, in Sparta. Mrs. Scott was born May 5, 1931, in Cookeville, Tennessee, the daughter of Dow Bray and Mandy LaFever Bray.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles P. Scott.
Survivors include her son, Charles P. Scott Jr.; daughter, Shirley Robinson (Denny); step-grandchildren, Denny Wayne (Sheila) Robinson, Brooke Nunn (Kevin);
step-great-grandchildren, Rhett Robinson, Danielle Hall (Damien), Blake Nunn, Rhiana Locke;
step-great-great-grandchildren, Nolan Hall, Mason Hall, Scarlett Locke, Amelia Locke;
sisters, Dean Snyder (Willie), Shirley Irene Burdette; brothers, Gene Bray,
Bill Bray (Joyce); special friends, Patsy and Bob Allison; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be June 26, 2019, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with interment in the Linville Cemetery. Doyle Crawford and Doug Benningfield will officiate.
