Freddie was the son of Arthur L. Adams Sr and Helen Felder Adams. He was educated in the Houston County School System. He was formerly employed with Bibb Manufacturing Company in Fort Valley, Georgia. He was currently employed with Lowe's in Warner Robins, Georgia as a Plumbing Specialist. He was a dedicated volunteer Firefighter with the Fort Valley Department of Public Safety in his hometown of Fort Valley, Georgia. He was a member of Oldfield Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia. He was also a faithful Noble of Masab Temple #11. He had a passion for cooking.

He was married to Jacqueline "Jackie" Stephens Adams on December 28, 1991. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosie M. Adams(FAG# 160754217) and Gail Anita Adams(FAG# 141492890) and 1 brother, Fernando Deval Adams(FAG# 15986702).
