Gary grew up around Afton and he graduated from East Union High School. Gary was a Millwright and he worked most of the time away from home. He was a hard worker and had to keep busy all of the time. His favorite thing was going to his grandson, Garrett’s, activities and ball games. He loved bird hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed taking the dog for a walk. He was a member of the Corning Gun Club and his hobbies included shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays. He will be in our hearts forever.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Marilyn, son Lonnie, daughter-in-law Frances, and grandson Garrett, all of Diagonal; brother Johny Stephens; mother-in-law Anna Goodman of Creston; sister-in-law Marlene (Larry) Christensen of Greenfield; brothers-in-law Don (Laura) Goodman of Glenrock, WY and Jon (Lori) Goodman of Diagonal; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
