Charles "Charlie" Hodges, 86, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Miller Farm Place. He was born February 10, 1934 in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Lynn and Catherine (Bircher) Hodges. Charlie earned his Bachelor degree from Bowling Green State University and his Master's Degree from Miami University of Ohio. He taught art education at Dayton Public Schools, Ruskin, Fairview, and Living Arts Center. Charlie was an avid antique dealer for most of his life and was well respected in the antique community.

He is survived by his partner of 45 years, Douglas Maue; sisters-in-law, Pamela Slightam and Cassandra (John) O'Neill; brother-in-law, Dennis (JoAnn) Wead; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; dear friends, Rosemary Humphery and Nan Regner; his faithful cat, Emma, who resided with him at the nursing home; as well as too many friends to list.
