Donnie Weaver
1938-2018
Donnie Weaver of Merced, California, 1938-2018, was born in Wellington, Texas and predeceased by his wife Clara Weaver as well as his parents Bernice Franklin and Delia Weaver. He is survived by his two children, his daughter Raylene Curtice and son Marshall Weaver; his grandson Jerad Curtice; his eight siblings, Jonnie Hileman, Bonnie Sims, Darlene Miller, Frank Weaver, Raymond Weaver, Daymon Weaver, Jean Berry and Carel Gantzer.
He lived in Merced for 50 years and enjoyed many years of outstanding stock car racing, flying, golfing, fishing, and even some square dancing. He attended Dodson High School in Texas, served in the United States Air Force, and later received exceptional technical training in the automotive field which led him into owing his own business and smog compliance service.
Donnie was always full of life and love. Handsome, brilliant, talented, loving and lighthearted, he was always surrounded by many friends and family. He was always ready to help the other person. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and neighbors but he will always live on in our hearts and minds.
Donnie was interred in the Merced Cemetery District and received military honors.
