Frankie Lynn Brown of Yantis, Texas passed away on June 6, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born on January 28, 1928 to David Frank Crim and Eunice Aline (Martin) Crim in McKinney, Texas. Frankie married John L. Brown on October 12, 1944 in Love County, Oklahoma. She was a registered nurse for 35 years. Frankie was very active in Central Christian Church in Winnsboro, where she was an ordained elder and every Thursday she volunteered at the Blessing Box. She enjoyed painting and found peace through watercolor painting. Frankie was a member of the Southwest Water Color Society of Dallas, Texas and until recently drove to the Mt. Pleasant Art Society. She was an active volunteer and hospitality chairman for Friends of the Library in Quitman, Texas. Frankie enjoyed reading and made her family and faith a priority.

Frankie is survived by her children, Katherine Ellis and husband, Robert of Rockport, Texas, Priscilla O'Malley and husband, Patrick of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, David Brown and wife, Debbie of Carrollton, Texas, William Brown of Sanger, Texas, Alicia Milner and husband, Randy of Yantis, Texas, and Robert Brown of Yantis, Texas; grandchildren, Derek Ellis and wife, Sara of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cylinda Hill and husband, Ralph of Apollo, Pennsylvania, William Mat Brown and wife, Alicia of Flower Mound, Texas, Brian Brown of Athens, Texas, Christina Cimino and husband, Michael of Quitman, Texas and Dustin Brown and wife, Katie of Ft. Worth, Texas; brothers, Jere Crim and wife, Esther of Frisco, Texas and Jimmy Crim and wife, Barbara of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Patricia Mahand of Greenville, Texas; 7 great-grandchildren, Whitney, Carter, Avery, Brenden, Emmitt, Luke and Michelle; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Nora, Owen, Taeson and Teagan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Brown and her sisters, Janis Sterling and Doris Davis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frankie's memory to Central Christian Church, CCC "Blessing Box", http://centralchurchwinnsboro.homestead.com/ or the St. Joseph Indian School, https://www.stjo.org/.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, the following are Ridgeview Memorial Parks guidelines. All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, by standing at a minimum distance of 20 feet from the tent and 6 feet apart from one another to comply with social distancing directives or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

The graveside service will also be video recorded and will be available following the graveside service on Frankie's obituary page.
